Yes. The app builds you five workouts free when you first open it, with no account and no payment method, so you can see what it makes of your own description. Those five cover building a workout. Editing one, the ready-made library and the voice-guided session need a subscription, and the 14-day free trial starts when you subscribe.

The 14-day trial starts when you subscribe and unlocks everything: workouts built by AI from whatever you say, swapping and refining moves, over 160 ready-made workouts, and voice-guided sessions. After the trial, without a subscription you keep your account and can still open and read the workouts you saved — but creating a new workout, editing an old one and running a session need an active subscription.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled in iOS Settings: tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Yafa, then Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Open the subscription screen and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID you bought with. If you signed into Yafa with Apple or Google, sign in with the same account you used at purchase. If it still does not unlock, email us — we can check the subscription status on our side.

Open Profile in the app and choose to delete your account. That removes your account, our server-side records and the workouts stored on your device. It cannot be undone. An active subscription is billed by Apple and must be cancelled separately in iOS Settings.

The app always picks the best voice installed on your device, but iOS ships only a basic one by default and apps are not allowed to install voices. You can download a better one for free: iOS Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices, pick your language, and choose one marked Enhanced or Premium. Yafa will use it automatically the next time you train.

Mostly. Library workouts, your saved workouts and the guided session all work with no connection, so a gym basement or a plane is fine. Generating a new AI workout needs an internet connection, since the AI runs on a server.

Yes, fully. Open Profile and change the language — it switches the interface, the workout library and the language the workout is spoken in. The Finnish library is the same size as the English one, and the workouts are written in Finnish rather than translated.

Every generated workout costs us money at the AI provider. The cap is set well above what anyone needs for their own training — it exists to stop automated abuse, not to ration your training. If you hit it in normal use, tell us; that is a sign the number is wrong.

No. Saved workouts, history and settings live on your phone only. That means they are private by construction — and also that they are lost if you delete the app, since there is nothing to sync back. Cloud sync is something we are considering; tell us if you want it.

Please do. Bad or unsafe generated workouts are especially worth reporting — include the description you gave and roughly what came back, and it feeds directly into how the AI is prompted.
